A 7-year-old boy is among four individuals injured after a car crashed into a pizza restaurant in Adelaide's east.

Four people, including a young boy, were injured after a car crashed through the front window of a pizza shop in Adelaide's east during one of its busiest trading hours.

The car crashed through the large glass front window of Euro Pizza and Restaurant on Kensington Rd in Rosslyn Park just before 8 pm on Saturday.

Wild footage captured by Channel 9 cameras show paramedics swarming the scene.

The impact of the crash was so significant that it shattered the storefront and broke off part of the door.

Four people were inside the restaurant at the time of the crash.

A 54-year-old man was transported to Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Additionally, a 44-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman, and a seven-year-old boy were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

The driver of the car, a 42-year-old Rosslyn Park local, is cooperating with police inquiries and emerged from the incident unharmed.
